ThugBirdz are one of the first ever Solana NFT communities, which came together around a collection of 3,333 pixelated Birdz that minted in the late summer of 2021.

We are on OG collection of 3,333 beautifully simplistic and timeless Thugbirdz that minted as one of the very first Solana NFT collections back in 2021. Each token has its own distinct set of traits including favorite rap icons like Tupac and Wu Tang Clan just to name a few.
A vibrant community formed around these NFT’s as holders found themselves a home in Web3. Whether music-lovers, artists, traders and creatives, people from all backgrounds came together to form the ThugDAO, a self-governing community representing the holders’ interests and the wider brand.

What the flock is a ThugDAO?
ThugDAO is the name for the community which runs the ThugBirdz NFT collection and its valuable IP. The operations team behind ThugDAO has now taken complete ownership of the project, following a mutual agreement between its former and present owners. Many projects and collections boast of having community, but when the hype dies they fall away. We have demonstrated what proper community means through both good times and lean times. ThugBirdz is fully community owned, and a registered LLC.
